Metzker Scarf
$45.00
- This 100% silk scarf features a photographic image by Ray K. Metzker.
Ray K. Metzker is best known for his Composites, single works created from overlapping or repeated images. From a distance, they read as abstract, graphic tapestries. Close examination reveals them to be composed of a series of individual vignettes that can be viewed both simultaneously and sequentially, as in this example of a silhouetted nude. At the time of their making, they were unprecedented in ambition and perceptual complexity.
Secondary image is of original artwork.
