  • This relief, from the cover of a bronze folding mirror, probably depicts the god of wine in ecstasy between two Maenads, his immortal female followers. However, the wreath held by the male figure could also identify him as Adonis, depicted between Aphrodite and Persephone. Silver on copper replica mounted on a clear acrylic background.
