Walking Stick - Apulian Dog Head

Elegant black lacquered wood walking stick featuring hand painted reproduction of an Apulian Dog Head drinking cup as the handle. This rhyton is in the shape of the head of a Lakonian hound. The back of the handle features a bowl decorated with a walking satyr; he holds a plate in his right hand and a thyrsos in his left.

Made exclusively for the Getty by Walking Sticks, an artisan company that creates luxury accessories and objects for several uses, and leader in the production of walking sticks.
