These earrings were meticulously wrapped in 22K gold leaf using an intricate process of gilding and burnishing to finish to a rich patina. They feature an imagefrom Flemish artist Joris Hoefnagel's Dragonfly, Pear, Carnation, and Insect painting, with a Swarovski crystal in the center.
