With the Renaissance came the trend of ornamented necklaces with lavishly detailed pendants. This beautiful choker necklace was handcrafted in Poland with oxidized sterling silver and features an array of stones, including smokey quartz, glass pearls, crystal quartz, and bonded marble. It was selected for the exhibition Michelangelo: Mind of the Master at the Getty Center.
