These post earrings were designed using some of the most popular stones and styles of the Renaissance, handmade by American artist and jeweler Sarah Cavender exclusively for the Getty. They were delicately crafted and feature carnelian, lapis lazuli, and mother of pearl cabochon semi-precious stones with a bezel underlay, set in filigree circles.
