These colorful drop earrings, inspired by the lavishly ornamented pieces of the Renaissance, were designed and handmade by American artist and jeweler Sarah Cavender, exclusively for the special exhibition Michelangelo: Mind of the Master at the Getty Center. They feature a filigree ring with a carnelian cabochon semi-precious stone and a pearl drop.
