This enamel camera charm keychain commemorates the J. Paul Getty Museum's Department of Photographs. The Department of Photographs was founded in 1984 with the simultaneous acquisition of several major American and European collections. Today, the Museum's collection spans the history of the medium, from some of the earliest experiments in England and France in the late 1830s, through in-depth holdings of 20th-century masters of creative and documentary traditions, to representative examples of technical and artistic innovations of the 21st century.
