Cycladic Harpist Sculpture

Fine replica of a figure playing a musical instrument, lyre or harp.

The ancient Cycladic culture flourished on the islands of the Aegean Sea from c. 3300 to 1100 BCE. The best-known art of this period are the marble figures, highly stylized representations of the human form, typically having a flat, geometric quality that influenced some 20th-century modern art.
