Known for his colorful illustrations that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, Adam Dalton Blake created three new designs inspired by the "Celebrating Love" installation on the Getty Center's Spanish Steps. Sold exclusively in-person and online at the Getty Store, this collaboration features two custom greeting cards and a sticker sheet with seven original designs. Each piece brings bold color and playful energy to themes of joy, love, and art.
At the entrance of the Getty Center, museum guests are greeted by the L'Air statue that sits in the middle of the Spanish Steps. At the top of those steps is the well-known architecture of the curve entrance building. In this limited-edition stationery, both the L'Air statue and the building's curve have been given the Adam Dalton Blake touch with a bit of rainbow whimsy, incorporating queer symbolism with the colors of the Pride flag, drag, and a whole lot of love.
As part of the Getty's "Double the Love" program, these pieces will be sold alongside other merchandise related to our Queer Lens and $3 Bill exhibitions. These shows will run until the end of September, so be sure to get these Adam Dalton Blake collaboration pieces before they're gone!
