This year's Getty Villa design draws from a rare Roman silver amphora-rhyton. Used in ancient feasts to pour and aerate wine, the vessel combined practical elegance with intricate ceremonial design. Our ornament captures the amphora's elongated silhouette and refined repoussé detailing, evoking the graceful craftsmanship and timeless beauty of Roman silversmiths.
