Silk tie featuring a collage of character, animal and object weavings found in the Bayeux Tapestry. The remarkably well preserved original tapestry is an embroidery of wool yarn on woven linen, made in the 11th Century. Measuring 70 metres long and 50 centimetres high, it recounts the tale of the conquest of England on October 14th, 1066, led by William the Conqueror, the Duke of Normandy.
